6 years in China, 6 years dating a Malaysian guy, it can really change a French woman!
I still enjoy a “pain au chocolat” for breakfast but I can totally enjoy a “Nasi Lemak” to start my day. (It’s a rice dish with anchovies, peanuts, eggs, cucumber and a spicy Sambal sauce, typical Malaysian breakfast!).
Or a spicy curry for breakfast? Not scared ! Dim sum for brunch? With pleasure! A sweet dessert before or during the meal? No problem.
After all, what’s the use of living in a foreign country and dating someone of a different nationality… if not to open up your mind a little (and your appetite)?
