WHY?
Just like cotton swabs, toothbrush is one of the most polluting daily objects that we use. Every year, more than 4.7 billion toothbrushes end up in the landfills or in our oceans. Made of several types of plastics, they are not recyclable and take 100 to 1000 years to degrade. Yup, that’s a long time.
Can you imagine that your first toothbrush still exists somewhere on this planet?

MY SOLUTION
Bamboo toothbrush! With nylon bristles and a biodegradable handle, this is the most hygienic and eco-friendly option to solve the plastic issue. (It only takes 6 months to biodegrade!) Why bamboo? Because it is one of the fastest growing plants on the planet. Bamboos can reach their maximum height in less than 3 years. Additionally, bamboo is naturally antibacterial and water-resistant.
Hard to find in China?
Not anymore ! Tested and approved by me, I suggest you to try the “Boomi” bamboo toothbrush, a very young brand that was recently created in Shanghai. Pick up in Puxi or Pudong is possible to avoid a delivery and its packaging. If you order from Jingan, Xuhui or Huangpu, delivery will be made by bike 😉
Not in Shanghai ? Don’t worry, they deliver everywhere in China.
